Winning the FIP Tag Team Titles The Heartbreak Express have been with Full Impact Pro since it's very first show on August 2, 2003 in St Petersburg, Florida. They spent most of 2003 and the beginning of 2004 feuding with the team of Bruno Sassi and Big Tilly known as Phi Delta Slam. They also had notable matches in April 2004 against Mexican legends Halloween and Damian 666. In September 2004 FIP re-launched itself under the direction of Ring of Honor's Gabe Sapolsky. The Heartbreak Express were very proud to be among the very few of the original FIP roster to be signed by the new regime. This began the greatest learning period in the career of Sean and Phil as suddenly they were matched up against not just the best talent in Florida but the best in the entire world. They knew that if they could not hang with this new influx of talent that they would be quickly dropped from the FIP roster. While their win/loss record was not very good The Heartbreak Express always made a memorable impression in every match they were in and had good showings against nationally known Ring of Honor teams like The Carnage Crew and The Ringcrew Express of Dunn and Marcos. They also were honored to be invited to represent FIP at Ring of Honor on four separate events in 2005. These were definitely the biggest shows in the career of the Heartbreak Express and they have made it known that their immediate goal is to return to Ring of Honor someday soon when they feel they are ready to take over the tag team scene there as they have in FIP. On September 2, 2005 The Heartbreak Express scored the biggest win of their lives as they defeated "Spanky" Brian Kendrick and Sal Rinauro to become the FIP Tag Team Champions. Since then they have been joined by manager So Cal Val and bodyguard Kory Chavis and with their help have managed to hold onto the tag team titles now for several months. Here is the championship record of The Heartbreak Express in Full Impact Pro as of May 2006: September 2, 2005 The Heartbreak Express scored the upset over Spanky Brian Kendrick & Sal Rinauro to win the FIP Tag Team Titles. Over 32 teams from around the world were invited to be a part of this incredible event and The Heartbreak Express were so proud to be among the elite invited to compete. They were eliminated from the tournament by the New Japan representatives in the tournament in the team of Nishimura and Takemura.
